Sobrevivió tanto a Auschwitz como a Bergen-Belsen, convirtiéndose posteriormente en miembro fundador de la Orquesta de Cámara Inglesa y dedicando su vida a compartir su historia....

At just 12 years old, Anita Lasker-Wallfisch was sent to study cello in Berlin—a skill that would later spare her from death in Auschwitz.

As a member of the women's orchestra at the camp, Anita survived one of history’s darkest chapters. Her music became both a lifeline and a witness to unimaginable horror.

Born in Breslau, Germany, Anita lost her parents after Kristallnacht and was eventually deported to Auschwitz with her sister. She survived both Auschwitz and Bergen-Belsen, later becoming a founding member of the English Chamber Orchestra and dedicating her life to sharing her story.
