AMIGOS DE ISRAEL - CORDOBA (ARGENTINA)

 Mazel Tov, Mia Leimberg, on being selected as an outstanding IDF soldier for Israel’s Independence Day.

On October 7, 2023, during the Hamas terrorist massacre in southern Israel, Mia Leimberg was just 17 years old. She, along with her mother, Gabriella, her aunt, Clara, Clara’s partner, Luis, her uncle, Fernando, and her dog, Bella, was kidnapped from Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak and taken to Gaza.

In November 2023, Mia, Clara, Gabriella, and Mia’s dog Bella were released from captivity. In February 2024, Luis and Fernando were rescued by the IDF.

Demonstrating remarkable resilience, Mia went on to enlist in the IDF and was awarded this prestigious honor yesterday.
