Today would have marked Jewish heroine Hannah Szenes' 105th birthday. In 1944, while on a secret mission to rescue Jews in Hungary, she was arrested by the Nazis and tortured repeatedly, but she refused to reveal any information. On November 7th, 1944, she was executed at the age of 23. Today, we remember and honor her bravery and her sacrifice.
