 Remembering Janusz Korczak: the Polish-Jewish educator and pediatrician who ran an orphanage in the Warsaw Ghetto and refused rescue, choosing to stay with his 200 children when they were deported by the Nazis to the Treblinka extermination camp in August 1942, where they were later murdered in the gas chambers.
