AMIGOS DE ISRAEL - CORDOBA (ARGENTINA)

 On this day (June 11) in 1967, the Six-Day War between Israel and surrounding Arab countries officially ended as a UN-brokered ceasefire came into effect. Israel, against all odds, defeated the four Arab nations that had gathered near Israel's borders and threatened to wipe the tiny Jewish state off the map, forcing Israel to act swiftly in order to protect its civilians and its territory.
