On the eve of Rosh Hashanah, at his home in Florida, Aron Bielski, the last of the brothers who became a symbol of courage and hope, passed away at the age of 98.
As a young man in the forests of Belarus, he endured unthinkable hardships, yet stood alongside his brothers to form the Jewish partisan unit that saved thousands of lives during the Holocaust. After the war, he immigrated to Israel, fought in the War of Independence, and later settled in the United States, where he built a family and a life rooted in values and perseverance.
His strength, resilience, and unwavering faith will continue to inspire us. May his memory be forever a blessing.
