On Sunday September 28, 2025, a second funeral was held in Kibbutz Kfar Aza for Nadav Goldstein-Almog, 48, and his daughter Yam, 17, who were murdered in the October 7 massacre. The two were first buried in Shefayim, but now, they have been brought back to rest in the soil of their beloved home.
On that terrible day, Hamas terrorists murdered Nadav and Yam and kidnapped the rest of the family — Chen, Agam Gal, and Tal, who would later return after months in Gaza captivity.
At the funeral, Agam, 21, stood before her father and sister’s graves and gave a heartbreaking eulogy:
“This morning we accompanied you from Shefayim. Suddenly you felt so close, and I wanted to hug you. In Kfar Aza we lived as a big family, and now I am left with two holes in my heart — of my father and sister, murdered before my eyes.”
